PCT-G plastic - Polycyclohexylene dimethylene terephthalate

The glycol modified PCT-G plastic is a transparent copolyester known by the chemical name polycyclohexylene dimethylene terephthalate. PCT-G material is particularly suitable for applications requiring very low extractables, high clarity and very high gamma stability. PCT-G polymer is also characterised by very high impact strength. It combines many of the properties of polycarbonate with the advantage of containing no BPA, BPS or other bisphenols.

Manufactured PCT-G products and PCT-G finisheD parts

The material PCT-G is manufactured and sold by Ensinger as stock shapes in the form of rods and sheets and can also be further processed by machining.
