Ensinger is simplifying the ordering process for CNC-manufactured plastic parts. The new TECAPART online platform allows customers to upload CAD models and technical drawings; they then receive a quotation in next to no time for turned and milled parts made from high-performance plastics such as PEEK, POM or PA. The service has already been successfully tested on the Czech plastics market. 

“TECAPART considerably eases the ordering of plastic parts and ensures that our customers receive fast, reliable service”, says Jan van Schaik, divisional head at Ensinger. “With this platform, we are offering users straightforward access to high-quality precision parts from Ensinger’s wide range of materials”. 

(Potential) customers can use the online portal 24/7 to request customised quotations and delivery times for plastic parts – whether prototypes or mass-produced items – and order them directly. After uploading a CAD model and a PDF file, the relevant parameters are read out automatically. 

A portfolio of more than 25 high-performance and engineering plastics and numerous modifications offers the right solution for every requirement. If necessary, a support team with comprehensive expertise is on hand to assist. 

At the production sites connected to the platform, Ensinger has a total of over 200 state-of-the-art CNC machines at its disposal. Alongside turning and milling processes, Ensinger offers additional services such as intermediate tempering, grinding and polishing of the parts.
