Personal data
The use of our "Product Overview" with the "Features" REQUEST, REMEMBER and COMPARE requires the following personal data to be collected, namely your IP address. When contacting us, further information about you may be required, such as your name, company name and contact details (telephone number, email address).
Purpose of data processing
On our website you can find information on our products and initiate a request. However, direct ordering is only possible for certain products.
By clicking on the "REQUEST" link, you can contact us about a product and then order it directly from us. The contact form will appear. The mandatory data is marked with an asterisk. If necessary, voluntary information will be processed in addition to contacting us or processing your request. For ensuring that it is not an automated computer request, we make a captcha query.
By clicking on the "COMPARE" link, a list of products will be created, which you can then view to compare products.
If a price is displayed for a product, you have the option to add it to your shopping cart and buy it. To do this, you must provide the address and payment data. Payment options are available via PayPal, GooglePay and credit card.
The Captcha service used is operated by the company itself and only checks whether actions can be attributed to human behavior. The data is deleted immediately after the check has been carried out and does not contain any personal reference.
Legal Basis
Data processing is carried out for pre-contractual or contractual purposes in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 b) GDPR, i.e. to enable an order or to check and compare products in advance. Everything is done at the request of the person concerned.
Storage period
The personal data will be stored for a period of 2 years for product information or product comparison and product enquiry and then deleted, unless there is any further purpose for data processing.

Personal data
The data you enter in the contact form including the URL where you clicked on the sticky button will first be transmitted to us as the controller. If you have consented to receive our newsletter in the contact form, we will use your email address for this purpose (see section 5.4)
Legal basis
The legal basis for the processing of the data is our legitimate interest in answering your request in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR (legitimate interest "customer support"). If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the legal basis for data processing is Article 6 (1) sentence 1 b) GDPR ("pre-contractual measure").

5.4 Mailing list & Newsletter
Subject to your consent, you can subscribe to our newsletter or be added to our press mailing list.

This means that after you have registered, we will send you a message to the email address provided, in which we ask you to return an email stating that you would like to receive our newsletter or our press releases. If you do not confirm your registration within 4 days, your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after 6 weeks. Therefore, we will store your email address, your IP address and the time of your registration and confirmation for as long as it is necessary to prove your registration and confirmation in the event that claims, including, but not limited to civil and/or competition law claims, are asserted against us. In any case, your email address, your IP address and the time of your registration will be deleted if the respective claims are time-barred.

If you register to receive press releases, we also need your first and last name as well as your postal address if you have chosen to be sent by mail. The provision of further data is voluntary and will be used in order to be able to address you personally. You are not legally or contractually obliged to provide personal data as part of the registration and confirmation of our newsletters or our press releases. You can revoke your consent to the sending of the newsletters or press releases at any time and unsubscribe from the respective newsletters or press releases. You can revoke your consent to the newsletter and press releases by sending an e-mail to [obfemailstart]cHJlc3NAZW5zaW5nZXJwbGFzdGljcy5jb20=[obfemailend] or by sending a message to the contact details given at the end of this privacy policy. You can also revoke our newsletters by clicking on the link provided in each newsletter e-mail or by sending a message to the e-mail address provided.
In this case, you will not receive another newsletter from the time your message is processed. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the revocation.
If you do not confirm your registration within 4 days, your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after 6 weeks.
In addition, we store your IP addresses used and times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of the procedure is to prove your registration and, if necessary, to be able to clarify any possible misuse of your personal data. If you are logged in to one of the afore-mentioned networks at the same time as using our site, no automatic data transmission takes place. Only when you activate the respective button with a 2nd click, a direct connection is established between your browser and the server of the selected social media service. As a result, the network provider receives the information that you have accessed our website with your IP address and would like to share the visited page on the corresponding social network. With a further click, you agree to the transfer of the respective data and the sharing of the page. When you click on the email function, a connection to Outlook or another e-mail program you use is established and the content is integrated as a link.

This platform is operated within the European Economic Area by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as "LinkedIn").
LinkedIn is part of a large corporation whose parent company, LinkedIn Inc., is based in the United States. LinkedIn reserves the right to transfer data to the USA and in this respect applies the EU standard contractual clauses and other protective measures that are intended to guarantee an adequate level of data protection (Art. 46 para. 2 c) GDPR). In addition, it is to be expected that LinkedIn will be certified, so that the EU's adequacy decision will then apply.
If you are using LinkedIn and make use of functions such as sharing, posting or liking posts, this is done under your own responsibility and on the basis of your own user relationship with LinkedIn. As things stand at present, there is no joint responsibility in this respect.
Please refer to LinkedIn's Privacy Policy at URL https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy and Cookie Policy at URL https://www.linkedin.com/legal/cookie-policy for information on how LinkedIn processes your data. Ensinger has no influence on this data processing, nor can it control it. This includes but shall not be limited to confidential messages that are processed by LinkedIn and analysis tools that are used from which LinkedIn can infer your preferences and interests and determine your location via your IP address and GPS data. This data may be used to send or display targeted advertising. Such data will not be made available to Ensinger. You should therefore assert any rights as a data subject in this regard directly against LinkedIn.
Ensinger only receives personal data about you if you actively network with Ensinger or follow Ensinger. However, we will only receive the information that you have chosen to make public to your contacts.

Ensinger operates its own video channel about the company, which can be accessed at the URL https://www.youtube.com/@ensingerplastics.

7. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA
Your data transmitted to us via the website will be disclosed by us to the following recipients or categories of recipients:
- Google Ireland Limited
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd
- LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company
- Companies of the Ensinger Group of Companies, insofar as it is a country-specific enquiry or data is processed on behalf of the bundle of resources.
- Service providers who are commissioned by us in connection with the creation and dispatch of printed products, the recipients of data already named elsewhere in this data protection declaration, as well as
- Those public or non-public entities to whom we are under duty to disclose personal data for complying with a legal obligation.
8. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES
We also intend to transfer your personal data to recipients in so-called "third countries". "Third countries" are countries outside the European Union or the Agreement on the European Economic Area where it is not always possible to assume a level of data protection comparable to that in the European Union.
Prior to such a transfer, we ensure that the required adequate level of data protection is guaranteed in the respective third country or with the recipient in the third country. This may especially result from a so-called "adequacy decision" of the European Commission, which determines an adequate level of data protection for a particular third country in common. Alternatively, we may also base the transfer of data on the so-called "EU Standard Contractual Clauses" agreed with a recipient.
The USA is currently considered a country with an adequate level of data protection if the companies certify themselves accordingly (see adequacy decision of the EU Commission of 10.07.2023, C (2023) 4745 final). This is the case, for example, with companies such as Google LLC or Meta Inc. The list of the certified companies can be accessed here: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/list
9. YOUR RIGHTS (OBJECTION, REVOCATION, INFORMATION, RECTIFICATION, RESTRICTION OF PROCESSING, ERASURE, TRANSFER, COMPLAINT)
9.1. Objection
You may object to the processing of your personal data by us at any time on grounds relating to your individual situation. To do this, you can use the contact options mentioned in sections 1 and 2. If your personal data is processed by us for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of such advertising. You can exercise the objection as described above.
If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms.
9.2. Revocation
Furthermore, you have the right to revoke your consent with effect for the future. However, the lawfulness of the data processing based on your consent remains unaffected until the revocation is exercised.
9.3. Other rights
At any time, you have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by us free of charge, to correct incorrect data and to have data processed or deleted. Furthermore, you have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to have your data transferred by us to someone else. Finally, you have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Except for your right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, you can address your respective request to us by using the contact details set out in sections 1 and 2.
10. DATA SECURITY
This website is SSL encrypted to protect your privacy. Taking into account the state of the art, the implementation costs and the nature, scope, circumstances and purposes of the processing, as well as the probability and severity of the risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, Ensinger shall also take appropriate technical and organisational measures within the meaning of Article 32 of the GDPR. It also ensures the confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of the systems and services related to the processing, as well as ensuring the rapid restoration of the availability of personal data in the event of a physical or technical incident.
Please note that while we strive to provide a secure and reliable website for users, the absolute confidentiality of any communications or materials transmitted to or from our website cannot be warranted.
