Our injection molding department has tested the material in-house with convincing results and decided to add AURUM®TPI to our material portfolio. 

Aurum TPI

Properties and characteristics

AURUM®TPI is a long term heat resistant thermoplastic polymer up to 465°F (240°C). Its high process efficiency, makes it impeccable for injection molding processes.

With its exceptional heat resistance, excellent mechanical, sliding and electrical properties, this material is ideal for demanding wear-friction applications such as thrust washers, bearings and seals in industrial machinery and the automotive industry.

The polymer is also used in clean applications e.g. semiconductor processes and electrical or electronic devices. Due to its high dielectric strength and very low dissipation factors at various frequencies, it effectively serves as an insulating material. Additionally, the aerospace sector can benefit from the polymer's exceptional radiation resistance. The material’s low weight can play a crucial role in determining its suitability for your application.   

As a result it's versability makes it an excellent choice for many appliances and the different grades including natural or glass fibre reinforced can serve numerous purposes.
