TECAFIL PA6 GF30 black - 2.85 mm
PA6 GF30 Filament
To enable printing of engineering plastics on all types of printers, we have developed and qualified our TECAFIL PA6 GF30 black, a nylon filament reinforced with 30 % glass fibers.
To bridge the gap between standard and high temperature plastic filaments, Ensinger manufactures a modified PA6 filament, which is categorised as an engineering thermoplastic filament.
Our nylon 6 filament is available in 1,75 mm and 2,85 mm and is well suited for all industrial or desktop printers. Therefore, this filament is also qualified for Ultimaker printers like the S5 and S3. The recommended print temperature of 270 °C and a print bed temperature of 75 °C make it very easy to print end applications or prototypes in perfect quality. With its 30 % glass fiber volume, this material can be considered one of the strongest nylon filaments on the market in terms of mechanical strength.
Thanks to its good tensile strength, high stiffness, compressive strength and impact resistance, our glass-filled nylon filament enables a wide range of applications, such as structural parts or applications with high static loads and high temperature conditions over long periods of time. Especially where high stiffness and strength is a key requirement, such as in the automotive or electronics industry as well as in mechanical engineering, our PA6 GF30 filament is a perfect fit for your application.
Due to its high fiber volume, our PA filament can reduce the warpage of your printed application compared to conventional polyamide filaments.
