Heat stabilised PA 66 composite with 20 % carbon fiber reinforcement

Nylon 66 is one of the most frequently used engineering thermoplastics, especially in the automotive industry, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. Its good mechanical properties are further strengthened by 20 % carbon fibers. 

TECACOMP PA66 CF20 HI black is developed with a heat stabiliser that intervenes in the thermo-oxidative degradation of the plastic and delays damage caused by the effects of temperature and oxygen. 

The compound is characterised by increased dimensional stability under heat and can be used up to 110 °C permanently and up to 170 °C for short periods. Due to its high viscosity, this compound is particularly suitable for simpler component molds with injection molding.
