TECACOMP PA66 CF20 black 1014850

Electrically conductive PA 66 compound reinforced with carbon fibers

Nylon 66 (PA 66) is one of the most commonly used polyamides. The semi-crystalline thermoplastic has high toughness and good mechanical properties. It is frequently used in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical and instrument engineering.

TECACOMP PA66 CF20 black is suitable when an electrically conductive material is required, for example for energy guiding rails. The filling with conductive carbon black ensures a free flow of energy with low electrical resistance.

In addition, reinforcement with 20 % carbon fibers improves the strength and modulus of elasticity as well as the creep resistance and sealing strength of the compound, which can be used permanently up to 110 °C, and for short periods up to 170 °C.
