Polyamide 6 compound with 15 % carbon fiber reinforcement

Polyamid (PA6) is a versatile engineering thermoplastic. The polyamide 6 compound reinforced with carbon fibers has high specific strength at low density, as well as good toughness, wear resistance and sliding properties.  
TECACOMP PA6 CF15 black 1014881 is used when higher strength or lower density is required than, for example, the glass fiber reinforced TECACOMP PA6 GF30 black. The carbon fibers also have a less abrasive effect on the mating partner and help to dissipate frictional heat more effectively.  
The fiber-reinforced PA 6 compound can be used permanently at temperatures up to 100 °C and briefly up to 180 °C. It is widely used in the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, office machines and precision engineering, as well as in electronics and other sectors.
