Nylon 66 reinforced with 40 % carbon fibers

PA 66 is a polyamide with great hardness, stiffness, abrasion resistance and heat resistance. Compounding with 40 % carbon fibers significantly enhances the good mechanical properties, and also increases electrical conductivity.  

TECACOMP PA66 CF40 black offers high specific strength at low density, which is particularly appreciated in automotive and mechanical engineering and electrical engineering. The composite can be used permanently up to 110 °C, and for short periods up to 170 °C.
