TECATEC PA66 CF50 T200 CP/IP/OS V01 natural

PA66 IN COMBINATION WITH 50 VOL% CARBON FIBRE FABRIC

REQUEST FURTHER PROCESSING OPTIONS

Along with polyamide 6, polyamide 66 is one of the most widely used thermoplastics for technical applications. The reinforcement with a carbon fibre fabric provides the composite material with very good mechanical characteristic values in combination with high abrasion resistance.
Compared to carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) based on PA6, TECATEC PA66 CF50 T200 natural impresses with better mechanical properties and higher temperature resistance.
The composite material is used primarily in vehicle construction and mechanical engineering, for example for semi-structural components, as well as for sports equipment and in the petrochemical industry.
Ensinger manufactures semipregs (CP) and prepregs (IP) as well as multilayer organosheets (OS). If insulating properties are required in an application instead of the electrically conductive carbon composite, the glass fibre reinforced PA66 variant (TECATEC PA66 GF43 T280 natural) may be a good choice.
