TECAST T EF natural

PA 6 C Bio-based

TECAST T EF natural (Bio-PA) is the environmentally friendly alternative to our conventionally manufactured cast nylon, TECAST T natural, and as a biopolymer part of our sustainable solutions.
The bio-based plastic is a molded polyamide (PA6C), and consists of a mass-balanced raw material. It therefore has an reduced CO2 footprint compared to the fossil version.
In terms of properties, the mass-balanced bioplastic is comparable to the fossil fuel based version, and is characterised in particular by good mechanical properties, along with excellent strength and wear properties. The PA6C bioplastic is often used as a substitute material for metals due to its lighter weight, and also exibits advantages over metals in terms of maintenance.
Ensinger produces the cast, biopolymer TECAST T EF natural in the form of PA6C tubes, PA6C plates and PA6C rods.

TECAST T EF natural is part of Ensinger's "Reuse for Tomorrow" solutions, which includes carefully developed products that contribute significantly to environmental protection through their reduced carbon footprint.  Find here further information on our bioplastics.
