TECAFIL PES natural - 1.75 mm

PES Filament

TECAFIL PES natural is an unfilled PES filament. PES, also known as PESU on the market, is a high performance plastic from the polyphenylene sulfone family.
PES filament can withstand high temperatures over long periods of time. Parts printed with PES filament are permanently temperature resistant up to 180 °C (short-term up to 220 °C). Its amorphous molecular structure makes PES filament a transparent, slightly amber coloured 3D printing material with good light transmission properties. Furthermore, PES filament is characterised by good heat resistance, creep resistance and dimensional stability.
PES is inherently flame retardant and therefore well suited for the transport sector. However, PES filament can be used in many applications and for almost all industries such as mechanical engineering or the automotive industry.
PES filaments are widely used in electronics due to their good electrical insulation properties. Other industries such as oil and gas can also benefit from 3D printing PES for their applications. Outstandingly, PES 3D printing is ideal for applications that require tight tolerances and small dimensional changes over a wide temperature range.
