TECAFORM® AD EF natural

POM-H Bio-based

TECAFORM AD EF natural is a mass-balanced bioplastic, presenting a sustainable alternative to fossil-based POM-H (Homopolymer Acetal). This biopolymer combines a reduced carbon footprint with impressive physical properties, including outstanding sliding characteristics and excellent wear resistance, along with great strength and fatigue resistance.
Furthermore, TECAFORM AD EF natural offers a slightly higher density, hardness, and strength compared to POM-C while also offering a reduction in non-renewable fossil resource usage. This bio Acetal Homopolymer excels in excellent electrical insulation properties and is easily machinable. Consequently, this biobased plastic is ideal for applications in power transmission such as gears in electronic motors, or food processing as well as a variety of other industries.

As a Bio POM Homopolymer by Ensinger, TECAFORM AD EF natural is available in the form of bio POM-H plates and bio POM-H rods.

TECAFORM AD EF natural is part of Ensinger's "Reuse for Tomorrow" solutions, which includes carefully developed products that contribute significantly to environmental protection through their reduced carbon footprint.
