The K trade fair is the most important trade fair for the plastics industry. Ensinger has long been one of the exhibitors presenting its portfolio every three years in Düsseldorf. Ensinger had also firmly planned to take part in the "K" (19-26 October) in 2022. Unfortunately, at this point in time, it cannot be ruled out that the corona incidence levels will once again rise to a critical level this autumn. After a comprehensive risk assessment, Ensinger has therefore decided not to participate in K 2022 as an exhibitor.
The further course of the pandemic cannot be predicted. It is possible that no further dangerous virus variants will appear and that the number of cases will not rise sharply this autumn. However, the planning of a trade fair appearance has a lead time of several months. Hotel rooms and flight connections also have to be reserved well in advance. Even if the pandemic situation is favourable, companies must expect that the international frequency at the stand will be lower than at previous K fairs.
The management did not take the decision lightly not to be an exhibitor at K 2022. The sales teams would very much have liked to take the opportunity to talk to customers and interested parties in person at the stand again. However, health protection comes first. Ensinger cannot take this responsibility lightly.
If the pandemic situation permits, individual company representatives will attend the K trade fair as visitors. In addition, Ensinger is currently working on several direct customer communication projects.
