PPS unfilled

Polyphenylenesulphide (PPS) - TECATRON - is a semi crystalline, high temperature thermoplastic. Due to its chemical structure, PPS is a very resistant polymer with high mechanical strength and rigidity, even at temperatures above 200°C. In addition to the low water absorption, PPS also shows good dimensional stability, low tendency to creep and excellent electrical properties, and is thus well suited for parts with tightest tolerances. Furthermore, unfilled PPS is very chemically stable, even at high temperatures, but does show sensitivity to UV radiation when uncoloured. There is no known solvent that dissolves TECATRON PPS at temperatures below 200°C (392°F).
