TECAPEEK GF30 natural

PEEK 30% glass fibre reinforced

This is a special 30% glass filled PEEK modification that Ensinger manufactures under the name TECAPEEK GF30 natural. In comparison to unfilled PEEK, this glass fibre reinforced material exhibits increased mechanical strength and high rigidity. Furthermore, improved creep strength and dimensional stability are achieved by this glass filled PEEK. These properties make this material suitable for use in parts which are exposed to high static loads over long periods in high temperature conditions. As glass fibres tend in some cases to have a marked abrasive effect on mating surfaces, TECAPEEK GF30 is less suitable for bearing or wear applications.
TECAPEEK GF30 offers excellent chemical resistance, is insoluble in all common solvents, and exhibits superior resistance to high doses of gamma radiation. As with all PEEK grades, PEEK GF30 combines high thermal stability with minimal thermal expansion and very low moisture absorption.

As with all Ensinger PEEK materials, we can confirm that glass filled TECAPEEK GF30 natural meets the limitations imposed by RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU Restriction of Hazardous Substances in electrical equipment.
